The Siberian Husky is not a dog — it's a lifestyle choice with fur and feelings. Ancient, athletic, and absolutely convinced you're walking too slowly. They don't fetch. They negotiate.

Breed Story
“Bred by the Chukchi people of northeastern Siberia over 4,000 years ago, the Husky was engineered for one purpose: to run forever through impossible conditions and still have opinions about it.”
The Origin
The Chukchi people of northeastern Siberia developed the Husky as a sled dog capable of pulling light loads over vast distances in brutal arctic conditions. They weren't just work animals — they slept with the children for warmth. The bond was total.
In 1925, Huskies became world-famous when a relay of sled teams ran 674 miles through a blizzard to deliver life-saving diphtheria serum to Nome, Alaska. The lead dog Balto became a national hero. Huskies haven't let us forget it since.
The Personality
Huskies are the drama queens of the dog world — outgoing, theatrical, and deeply opinionated about absolutely everything. They don't bark much. They howl. They narrate. They argue. They will tell you at length why dinner is late.
Independent and intelligent, a Husky is not interested in your commands unless they align with the Husky's personal agenda. Their energy is legendary — they were bred to run 100 miles a day. Your apartment is not going to fix that.
